Della comes from a background of 15 years in the restaurant business. Currently Richard and Della are owners of Nourishe, a gluten free, grain free and low carb baking mixes manufacturing company that are sold via, and through select southern regional Whole Foods Markets.

Food is more than just fuel. After all, we “eat” first with our eyes, then our nose, and finally taste, so a great and memorable meal is pleasing on many levels. This does not mean that any given meal has to be a two hour work of art. Even a simple dish can be elegant if a little love is added to its creation.  .


This is an easy-to-follow cookbook showcasing a wide variety of Paleo-friendly, low-carb meals.  This cookbook with over 90 recipes is called Dine, introducing recipes that speak to a refined palate and to an appreciation for dining really well.  Everything from amazing appetizers, hearty soups, refreshing salads, elegant entrées, luxurious desserts to kitchen and pantry staples for the well-stocked Paleo kitchen.  Each recipe outlines step-by-step directions and provides ideas for variations on the theme and substitutions of ingredients for versatility and to meet specific dietary needs.  Every recipe is not only gluten free but is also grain free and  lower in carbohydrates.

There are also many versions or variations of “Paleo”.  There is no one absolute Right or Wrong way to do this.  But here it is in a nutshell.  You eat as close to nature as possible.  Eat lots of vegetables and some fruits, preferably organic; as possible eat free range, hormone free poultry; grass-fed beef; sustainably raised or wild caught sea food, and hormone antibiotic free pork.  Eat good fats such as grass-fed sourced butter and heavy cream, olive oil, coconut oil, nuts, seeds and avocados.  Eat relatively lower amounts of carbohydrates and avoid starchy vegetables.  Avoid grains, legumes and soy.  Avoid any highly processed foods. Strict interpretations of Paleo also avoid all dairy and alcohol. Some of the recipes have the option of using grass-fed sourced butter and heavy cream but there is a strict Paleo option available as well. 

Who We Are


Cooking is part technique and part imagination.  If you already know the various techniques, great; if not, just follow the directions.  Either way, our recipes are clear and easy to use.  You will find something delightful for every occasion from simple Wednesday night dinner for two to an all-out special occasion celebration.  Or you can even use these recipes as a springboard for your own imagination.
